Arthaland Century Pacific Tower (ACPT), a 30-storey premium grade office development in Bonifacio Global City and winner of Best Office Development for 2019 at the 7th PropertyGuru Philippine Property Awards, was awarded the Best Commercial Green Development (Asia) during the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Finals ceremony held recently in Bangkok, Thailand. Arthaland’s flagship and corporate office building came out on top against other office developments which are themselves winners in their respective countries. Only the best of the best from more than a dozen property markets across the Asia Pacific region qualified for the grand finals.
Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) of New York, the same architect responsible for the One World Trade Center in New York City and the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, ACPT is the first and only triple-certified building in the Philippines, having received LEED Platinum rating, BERDE 5-star certification and the EDGE Zero Carbon certification, the highest and most prestigious certifications in green building rating standards.

“We were recognized among the best projects in Asia, by a panel of judges from all the participating countries, for the project’s excellent design, world class quality and industry leading sustainability features. Thus, we can proudly say that the Arthaland Century Pacific Tower is truly the best in the Philippines, one of the best in Asia and in the world,” said Leonardo Arthur T. Po, Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Arthaland. “This award will continue to motivate us to pursue building more sustainable and exceptional developments.”
Arthaland currently has two other office buildings under construction that are slated to bring more accolades to the country. These projects will also aim for triple-certification as they are already registered with both the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Philippine Green Building Council (PhilGBC). They are pre-certified for the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and are targeted to earn the Building for Ecologically Responsive Design Excellence
(BERDE) certification. Once completed, both projects are designed to earn a minimum of 20% savings in energy, water and embodied energy in materials, which will qualify them for Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies (EDGE)
certification. The Cebu Exchange is a landmark business ecosystem at the gateway of the Cebu IT park. On track for its 2021 turnover, it holds the distinction of being the largest green office building in the Philippines with approximately 11 hectares of
gross floor area.
The Savya Financial Center is a premium midrise office development with a fully integrated retail component, situated in the highly connected new business district of ARCA South in Taguig City. It will stand as a one-of-a-kind global address created to the highest standards. Both the North and South towers of Savya are designed and built with modern, smart and sustainable features.
