ARTHALAND extends sustainability expertise beyond its own developments

ARTHALAND’s sustainability work is increasingly creating impact beyond the developments it builds.

Through its property management arm, Arthaland Prestige Property Solutions Inc. (APPS), the company is applying the experience developed across its portfolio of certified sustainable developments to help other building owners pursue measurable green performance.

One recent example is M3 Corporate Center in Bonifacio Global City, where APPS served as sustainability consultant and guided the project toward EDGE certification. The building achieved 20% energy savings, 44% water savings, and 55% embodied energy savings in materials against EDGE benchmarks.

Engaged during construction, APPS worked with the project team to assess performance, identify opportunities for improvement, strengthen sustainability strategies, and complete the certification process. Measures incorporated or validated included a reflective roof, energy-efficient lighting, water-efficient plumbing fixtures, and a rainwater recycling system.

The engagement draws on ARTHALAND’s accumulated experience in green building certification, resource efficiency, and building performance, translating knowledge developed through its own projects into practical support for external building owners.

“What matters is turning sustainability targets into building decisions that can be measured and verified. Over the years, we have built practical experience in resource efficiency, certification, and building performance. Applying that experience to projects like M3 allows us to share those learnings in a different context and help deliver tangible improvements,” said Ar. Kristina Samantha Pobre, Head of Sustainability of ARTHALAND.

The M3 engagement shows how sustainability capability developed through ARTHALAND’s own projects can create value beyond its portfolio. By extending that experience through APPS, ARTHALAND is helping more building owners pursue measurable improvements and contributing to wider adoption of green building practices across the Philippine property sector.
