Eluria’s butlers graduate from world-class training, ready to set new standards

In anticipation of the grand  unveiling in the next few months, Eluria’s Butlers have just completed intensive training at the world’s premier butler service training institute – The International Butler Academy (TIBA). Headquartered in the Netherlands, TIBA offers a unique butler training and experience that allows students to learn while facing real personalities, challenges, and situations, all conducted within its own 80,000 square-foot estate consisting of 135 rooms. According to TIBA, the four Eluria delegates performed very well as they consistently demonstrated energy, passion, and commitment to themselves, their company and to TIBA. Their dedication was evident in both attitude and performance.

The training at TIBA ensured that each butler embodied the skills, demeanor, and discipline of the finest hospitality professionals. It covered a wide spectrum of subjects and worked to find the perfect balance between age-old traditions and the modern world, which is replete with technological innovations and ever-changing behaviors and customs.

Eluria’s Butlers were introduced to the rich traditions and evolving expectations of the profession, where they explored the values of discretion, loyalty, and impeccable standards. They were also taught to use advanced household systems, scheduling software, and other digital tools while preserving the human touch.

To fulfill its commitment to personalized service, Eluria’s Butlers are now equipped with the ability to run a home, such as managing inventories and coordinating repairs and maintenance. Whether it’s a private dinner or a formal soirée, residents will experience worry-free, gracious dining experiences as their butler will be adept in formal table settings, service styles, and etiquette. They also possess expertise in fabric care and understanding the proper washing, ironing, and storage techniques for various garments. A butler is a trusted personal aide, so they have been trained to anticipate personal preferences and ensure their principals are always well taken care of.

One of the main pillars of the training was etiquette and protocol as it encompasses many skills and serves as the pillar of professional conduct and defines the butler’s role as a paragon of grace, decorum, and refined service. A butler showcases expertise in social graces, ensuring that all interactions are conducted with dignity, respect, and precision, enabling him or her to navigate various social situations easily. The training also emphasized the need for effective communication, whether verbal or nonverbal. Exceptional interpersonal skills allow the butler to connect with people from various backgrounds, fostering a sense of trust and rapport. Additionally, the butler’s mastery of body language facilitates clear and respectful communication, helping to convey warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness.

Located at the heart of the country’s premier business district along Rada Street in Legazpi Village, the property offers utmost privacy with one to two units per floor, ranging from 288 square meters to 578 square meters for the Penthouse Suite. Residents will have direct and secure access to their unit through private lifts equipped with destination control radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. There will also be a separate service elevator that opens to the unit’s service area, fire exit, and valet box.
