Coordinates with Local utility companies and the construction team in electrical services, security and communication services.
Coordinates, discuss and resolve design issues and constructability with the Design and Construction team on work program, progress, construction methodologies and quality controls and ensures that a system is established in obtaining drawing approval/comments for electrical services.
Reviews and recommends potential value engineering items.
Assists the Project Manager in addressing all electrical auxiliary design issues; ensures the proper coordination and dissemination of Electrical Service Information.
Reviews and interprets construction plans, Technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports.
Review bid and cost analysis and make recommendations.
Attend all scheduled project coordination Meetings.
Performs other duties and functions as may be assigned.
Qualifications
In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
Knowledge of Electrical systems, building products, construction details/design and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
Familiarity with quality ad health and safety standards
Good knowledge of AutoCad and MS office
Familiarity with construction/ project management software.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
A team player with leadership skills
Equivalent certification will be an advantage.
Extensive experience in electrical and electro-communications works (including security and fire alarm system, structured cabling)
