Arthaland Masterclass Builds a Pipeline of Green-Building Professionals

8月 24, 2026

ARTHALAND completed the fourth annual run of its Masterclass in 2026, strengthening a practice-led model that prepares emerging professionals to advance the green-building industry.

Since its launch in 2023, the six-week program has trained 44 students through expert-led modules informed by LEED, BERDE, EDGE and WELL. Using an actual ARTHALAND project, participants analyze building performance, navigate practical trade-offs, and develop actionable recommendations to achieve the highest level of sustainability.

The 2026 cohort included 11 architecture students and 3 civil engineering students from National University Manila, Far Eastern University Manila, and Adamson University. The inclusion of engineering students tested the program’s relevance across disciplines. All three completed the capstone, performed comparably with the architecture students, and demonstrated strong application of the lessons.

ARTHALAND also awarded six academic scholarships and four professional-credentialing scholarships, supporting nine of the 14 participants. Among the first 30 graduates, 57% became ARTHALAND scholars, 27% have entered sustainability careers, and 20% earned professional credentials.

Now in its fourth year, the Masterclass continues to turn ARTHALAND’s sustainable-building expertise into practical capability, creating pathways into green careers and developing a multidisciplinary talent pipeline for the country’s low-carbon future.

The program will continue, enabling ARTHALAND to refine its approach and deepen its impact.
